What is new? A Comparison Between PS4 and PS5.

The future of gaming is here. New generation consoles are taking over the markets and their new specs are out of this world. The PlayStation, a series of consoles created by Sony, is one of the most bought console series in the world, starting from PlayStation 1 to their most popular console the PlayStation 4, which was released in 2013. Despite its long run, the PS4 was recently challenged by the new-generation PS5. Characterized by its strong upgrades, fast-loading screens, and interactive controllers, the PS5 quickly caught the eyes of gamers. That being said, what are the reasons that might make you upgrade from your old PS4 to the PS5? 

Graphics card

Graphics cards are one of the most important specs a console can have. Cards the reason behind all of the visuals on the screen the console is linked to. Despite having a powerful graphics card, the PS4 was challenged by the clear, slick, new-gen graphics card used in the PS5, which is twice as strong. This card allows the generation of clear complex images and sharp fast-moving videos, making the PS5 a better console. Because of this graphics card, the PS5 can run a screen that can reach up to 8k, twice of that supported by PS4.

Memory and Storage

Memory and storage are one of the determinate factors while choosing a console. Since games are usually very large and take up a lot of storage, a big storage system is needed to be able to accommodate the large installations. In addition, a good memory card is needed to be able to run those games smoothly. The PS5 was recognized for being the first console to have 16Gb RAM, which is twice the size of that of the PS4. On the other hand, the PS5 has less storage (800Gb) as compared to that of the PS4 (1000Gb). However, this is not really an issue because the PS5 can support an external hard drive that supports extra storage. 

Games

One of the reasons that might prevent gamers from upgrading or buying a new console is losing all the games that they have bought before. This is not a problem for the PS5, as this console can run all PS4 games without any problem, but this is not applicable the other way around. So don't worry, you can still use your old PS4 games but with a newer console. That being said, if you are new to gaming, you can buy the fairly cheaper PS4 games and enjoy them on the new console.
